Recycling update from North Yorkshire

North Yorkshire Council experiences high levels of contamination in recycling bins from both domestic and commercial properties in the Craven area.  A campaign is underway to remind residents of what can and can’t be recycled, and why the council asks them to keep contamination out of the recycling bins.

A letter will be delivered to all residents by the Royal Mail week commencing 25th May.

Bus timetable update

That the Summer Saturday timetable on bus service 75 between Skipton and Malham is now operational.  As usual the service will extend to Malham Tarn and Settle for the summer.
Updated timetables

The times are the same as last year, but the service is now run by Keighley Bus Company with support from North Yorkshire Council. As a result the following journeys on service 580 will no longer operate on Saturdays:
0845 from Settle to Skipton
1745 from Skipton to Settle

Unfortunately the recently-announced reduced timetable on service 580 on weekday daytimes will continue until further notice.
