Documents should be retained until they are no longer needed. This document outlines the appropriate minimum retention periods for the most important documents for audit and other purposes.
The policy document is a revision of an existing policy document which was approved at the March 2006 parish council meeting to support other related policies . It will be revised to produce a clearer document in the near future.
