I would like to take this opportunity to remind you and your citizens that your local Citizens Advice Craven & Harrogate Districts (CACHD) is up and running and able to provide help and support to everyone who needs it.

Although we’ve had to close our face to face interviews for now our staff and volunteers are working from home providing help and support over the phone and by email to almost as many people as we did before lockdown.

Our Services

Number of People Supported

In the year to end March 2020 we helped a total of 4,289 people with  11,943 issues (please see attached information).

Future Service Provision

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to re-think how our services are delivered.

It may be many months before we are able to restore face to face services and when we do we are expecting a significant increase in demand as government support for employees / businesses is withdrawn and there is continuing disruption to the economy.

With this in mind we are seeking feedback from our local Parish Councils about about how we can best support people in their areas.
